sightings at Chatfield (and other spots), we should keep a respectful distance
from our subjects. It would be best if we stick to the high ground on the
Sandspit and Plum Creek Delta.

Today we managed to hit 92 degrees, but still had some good birding.
Highlights included up to 6 Sprague's Pipits at "Pipit Hill" (eBird hotspot) in
Hale, 3 Osprey at Stalker Pond in Wray, 10 Northern Bobwhite, 3
Ruddy turnstone @ mouth of Plum creek, E. Side@1:10. Also some killdeer
Pelicans, cormorants, etc.

Chris Rurik and I camped last night at Two Buttes SWA, hearing a Great
Horned Owl and various unidentified critters during the night. Today, we
birded from Baca to Kiowa Counties. Our reports of what is passing through
