Good morning All,
Yesterday I reported 2 possible juvenile Trumpeter Swans at the Whitewater
Ponds on HWY 141 in Mesa County. Thanks to some comments from Steve
Mlodinow, I feel confident now that the birds are juvenile TUNDRA SWANS.

I just had 13 tundra swans drop in on the Douglas co side of Chatfield lake,
east of the marina sand spit. They just swam SE into a cove and are out of
view.

Janeal and I checked the Livermore Community Church at noon today to see if the
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch flock reported by John Shenot recently was still
visiting the feeders behind the pastor's house next to the Livermore Community
Church. No rosies but at least 3 Common Redpolls.

This afternoon a number of local birders checked out the swans that had
been reported at Highline Lake SP (been there about a week). Supposedly
there had been 8 swans earlier in the week. We had good looks at 5 adult
TRUMPETER SWANS.

Reservoir at 1:30pm this afternoon. It was east of where I parked on south
