Today at 1:30 p.m. the American Woodcock was again present at Bobcat Ridge
Natural area (Larimer Co) in the small stream across from the ranger house. I
was pleasantly surprised to see and photograph three Eastern Bluebirds in the
same place, going down toward the water, back into the trees,
Birders,
There are about 35 Rosy's here and 1 is a Black.

Cobirders,
While winter birds are still showing up, before long the dreaded birding
doldrums will be here. But wait, there is hope beyond. One of the
interesting thoughts is for Colorado-bound birders to strike out for new
pastures, or, rather, seas.
Our partner WFO’s annual
Frank's birds are currently foraging in the prairie dog town just west of the
east entrance kiosk at Chatfield.Doug KibbeLittleton.

Birders,
The Redpoll and HASP are here this morning. I saw only 1 Rosy-Finch. I'll
update if I see more.

Hi all
While slowly making my way to work this morning along Weld CR 100 btw 27
and 23, scanned numerous Horned Lark flocks on the plowed/slushy 100 road
and found 4 Lapland Longspur. I usually only get to hear them--nice to see
them for a change.
Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn
Birders
About 30 Rosy's just showed up in the backyard. There are at least 2
Brown-capped but I haven't seen any Blacks.
