Today I found a Purple Finch at Fountain Creek Regional Park. It might be
the same one seen during the CBC in December.

This Sunday afternoon, Jan. 10, with Marky Mutchler, Johanna Beam, Joel
Such, Hannah Floyd, and Simon Stone, I saw at least 6 *lesser black-backed
gulls* in one of the gull flocks at the Valmont Reservoir complex, Boulder
County. (4 adults, 1 third-cycle, 1 first-cycle.) These b

Today, Tammy and I went up to Bobcat Ridge where the really helpful Ranger
showed us where 1 of the 2 Woodcocks were. The bird was in the shade
(making pictures a little difficult) and was actively feeding and appeared
to be finding food.
