Black Vulture0 0
Found a couple pinyon jays at Brush Hollow this morning. Went by Holcim
Wetlands. It's still closed, but there was an eastern phoebe calling across
the street from the parking lot. You can scope the wetlands pretty well from
the road. There was a flock of American white pelicans and numerous
Leon - that's curious, because 26 TUVUs flew over - and circled above - my
house around 6 pm on Friday the 1st. It took 15 minutes for all of them to
arrive. They came in one or two at a time and joined the circling, then
flew to the NW, came back, changed their minds and flew off to the NE.
