I found those elusive birds today. Thank you every one for all the tips I
got. I especially want to thank Karl Stecher Jr. who got me in contact with

Those ponds are named "Adams and Bunkers Reservoirs" and
they are easy to find on the eBird hotspot map as:
"Pawnee National Grassland--Adams and Bunker Reservoirs"
It would be swell to swell the number of checklists attached to those birdy
places.

Weld CR 124 pond is 1-2 mile west of Hwy 77 (north of Briggsdale). Nearby
(south of 124) is Weld CR 122 and 75 where you can access Weld CR 122 pond
to west.

Hi all,
Yesterday there were two Burrowing Owls on an earthen mound on the south
side of Antero Reservoir where there was a good deal of grazing cattle. Not
much else of note there. A few White-faced Ibis were in the wetlands on the
north side, but there were very few mudflats, as seems to be th
Yesterday I went to Vail Ski Resort in Eagle County with mountain biking as
a primary purpose most of the time, but lots of bird observing as I went. A
highlight was many encounters with *Gray Jays*, which were noted in several
groups of 4-8 birds and smaller groups, totalling to at least 42 Gray J
