An adult Trumpeter Swan surprised me at The inlet pond on the right on the turn
to Stagecoach at Stagecoach Reservoir. It apparently has been there for two
weeks at least. I saw first time September 18.

This morning, I checked the trees south of the Fish Hatchery Building, at
Lake Pueblo State Park, Pueblo, and high up in the cottonwood trees, with a
couple of Wilson's Warblers, I was surprised to see a Blackpoll Warbler (my
second one this fall).

This morning I stopped at Lee Gulch Overlook Park in Littleton (off Santa
Fe 1.1 miles south of Bowles... snooze and you'll drive right past). There
were lots of birds flying around in the early morning cool. I started
