We have a calling Townsend's Solitaire in our neighborhood about 1/2 mile
south of Clement Park and 1/2 mile east of Wadsworth. Also had a flyover
of a bird I thought was a Cooper's Hawk, but was really dark on the breast
and underside of wings, which made me think Northern Goshawk.

Yesterday Tom Whitten and I made a quick stop at Melody Tempel Grove (Bent
Co) which was quiet except for 22 Wild Turkeys, Great-horned Owl, Ruby
Crowned Kinglet, Red-breasted Nuthatches and Red-bellied Woodpecker. We
then checked out Nee Noshe, Upper Queens, and Lower Queens Reservoirs

South Platte Park has seen the return of the characteristic and charismatic
Harlan's red-tailed hawk that hangs out near the Carson Nature Center. He was
first noticed in fall 2012, and again in 2013. By 2014 we were watching for
