At 10 am the previously reported Pacific Loon made his appearance at Valmont Reservoir, but only if you were willing to schlep up a hillside covered in burrs and cactus from the Open Space Headquarters. He was associating with 10 Western Grebes in the extreme eastern end of the reservoir.
