Not sure Jean. Some breed in the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado regularly. But then with fall migration, the San Luis valley gets a whole passel of birds from presumably the north that spend November to March here. Those birds could easily overlap local birds. One radio tracked Bald Eagle in
