Today near noon I was checking an area in the South Park condo development
along West Long Avenue in Littleton, near Long x Mineral. There are many
trees in this development, with pines being quite numerous. So I was

An adult Ross's Goose was in a flock over 600 Cackling and Canada Geese at
3 PM today at Lollipop Lake in Garland Park, Cherry Creek Drive North at
Holly St
in southeast Denver. It allowed close approach and showed no features of
hybridization
with its larger cousin, the Snow Goose.

We were able to re-find the Purple Finch at about 10:30 this morning, along the
access road. She was in bushes near the RPM building, and was affiliated with
two Song Sparrows.
