The pattern of the past couple of days continues..Moderate stream of
birds for a couple of hours and then it heats up and things die way down.
Here's the breakdown of the 18 new birds today:

Today was the busiest day at the station so far this season. The highlight
of the day was a Second Year Female Northern Parula. We banded a total of
65 birds of 22 species:

Today, 5/15, just past noon, I saw and photographed a Black-billed Cuckoo
right at the creek crossing as you come down the hill from the picnic area. It
was in viny shrubs just right of the steps going up the West Bank from the
creek. It moved into the willlows along the creek just south of
