Today was a great day, with lots of birds and some interesting species.
Wilson's Warblers made up half of the birds, but we had a total of 15
species, including the first of season Cassin's Vireo, Virginia's Warbler,
Western Tanager and White-crowned Sparrow. We also had a leucistic vireo,

The GBAN was still present this evening. Jeanne and I saw and heard the ani in
a leafless tree near the fence on the south side of the river.

Our second week of banding at Rogers Grove Park in Longmont remained fairly
quiet, with Wilson's Warblers making up most of the banded birds. Here are
our combined banding totals for Tues and Thurs this week:

the feeders at the Moose Visitor Center on Hwy 14 (west side of Cameron Pass).
