dramatically worse today and w
A Canyon Towhee has come into a feeder 2 days in October, now 2 days in
NOvember, in the Denver Tech Center area. Its appearance seems tied to snow
storms, and the feeder owner doesn't have any way to predict when or if it will
appear. She has provided an excellent photo (attached).

While birding with David Tonnessen and Jim Merritt this morning in Pueblo,
we saw and photographed a female YELLOW WARBLER, by the Arkansas River at
Cottonwood Picnic Area, at Lake Pueblo State Park on 24 November. I think
this is a late date for the Pueblo Area. We found it, by hearing a warbler
I staked out the Trilby Rd. today from 7:30 to 8:30 and no sign of the Gyr.
However, others have told me that Sunday is likely no the best for the
bird; since the landfill is closed and there is no one to stir up the
trash, the gull activity is basically zero.
