Hi all,
At least 2 Glaucous, 1 Lesser Black-backed, and 1 Thayer’s among Ring-billeds
and Herrings on the Arapahoe side of South Platte Reservoir.
2 Long-tailed Ducks still present, as well. JeffCo is currently 100% frozen.

Dear Colorado eBirders (if you don't use eBird, you can gleefully delete
this email),
This email is in response to concerns I have heard from several parties
about several mis-plotted eBird checklists in Mesa County (or as one person

we "only" saw 15 or 16 of them.
What we found interesting was 9 Am. White Pelicans standing around on the
ice, this early in the year,

Diana, thank you so much for posting this link! I'm from the Philadelphia
area, and will be visiting Colorado during the week of the convention. Now
I'll be able to research the field trips before the registration starts.
I'm looking forward to meeting some Colorado birders and birding new
places
A dark morph Ferrugenous Hawk has been hanging at this location for about a
month. Seen and photographed by several birders frequently at the same
location. First photographed by me on January 17th. Deer Creek Canyon Road west
of Wadsworth near the entrance to the Denver Botanic Gardens. Thanks
