Steve Kingswood and I found seven species of gulls at the west end of
Warren Lake: RBGU, Iceland (Thayer's), California, Herring, Glaucous
immature, Lesser Black-backed, and what we thought was an immature
Glaucous-winged. It was the same size as the Glaucous but the bird seemed
too dark. Hybrid?
Yesterday I noticed a black bird with a wedge-shaped tail, and turned my car
around! It was a raven, and there was a second one already on the ground,
watching a RTHA eat a rabbit. Location is barely in Adams county. North Main
Street in Brighton. Here is my checklist if you want to map it. Mayb
