Hi All,
Last night, 4 members of the CU Birding Club went up to cameron pass to see
if we could hear/see Boreal Owl (BOOW). We left Boulder around 7:30, and
made it up to the pass by 10:00. We started our search at the Ranger Lake
Campground, and at 10:16, we had our first BOOW response to
A crane just flew over 95th and South Boulder Rd. in Louisville heading north!

I have a double crested cormorant on the upper pond of Columbine lakes
townhomes. The crests were easily seen. I can’t remember ever having cormorants
this early!
I’ve also been having 9 hooded mergansers for a week on the upper pond. 1 male
and the rest females! Quite the harem.

Hi Everyone, This morning 3/17 I drove out to Merino to look for the Eurasian
Wigeon mentioned in yesterday's bird alert. It's still in the farm pond at mile
marker 393 on US-6, just northeast of town. I spoke to the landowners' son, who
let me know that three birders drove into private
