There was a good arrival of migrants early this morning, at Clear Spring Ranch,
especially numerous Lincoln's Sparrows, Com Yellowthroats, Orange-crowned
Warblers, and House Wrens. Not unusual, just more than normal, and my busiest
morning in 10 days. Most fun was the FOY Norther

encounter with them is always notable (to me, at least). This morning,
while on a short run around Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Centennial, I

couple of days, still there this morning. 4 Semi-palm sandpipers 2 days

I woke up to a Lincoln’s Sparrow singing and foraging in my front
yard, which is full of native plants! I played its song softly so that it
would come out where I could photograph it. It instantly flew to a bush by my
front porch!
