Gary, I can't get this link to open and I'm sure I'm cutting and pasting
the entire think. I'd really like to see the route. Might you check it
again?
Thank you!

Hi all,
I'm wrapping up about a week of surveys for the Bird Conservancy of the
Rockies here in the Arkansas Valley and southward, and taking advantage of
some free time in between to enjoy birding here. While I missed the peak
migration a few weeks back, I've still managed a few interesting
Thanks Diana. I will check it out and see if it works for me.

Hi all
Sharing another option available for Colorado eBird rare bird alerts. At
http://www.friendsofthepawneegrassland.org/, left side menu, under Rare
Bird Alerts, you'll find links to Weld and Colorado RBAs listed there plus
one at bottom of list named "Rare Birds in Other Counties". This
Thanks, Diana, and just for the record, the numbers on our volunteer team
had shrunk to the point that we no longer could compile in more frequent
weekly rotations and still have lives beyond the RBA.
We continue to marvel at how Joyce Takamine did this largely by herself for
more than a decade.
We’re I guess what you’d call casual birders, but we’ve also greatly
appreciated the RBA and the hard work and commitment that must go into
compiling it.
It’s lead us to spots we would never have known about, most recently the
wonderful Tucker Gulch. Thanks again cobirds.

I was at Pueblo City Park this morning, before 7am, when I saw an adult
Yellow-crowned Night-Heron fly over me and headed east. I am guessing it
was roosting at Lake Joy in the middle of Pueblo City Park. Maybe it will
return here later today. This is my first adult Yellow-crowned Night-Heron
I believe that is what COBIRDS is currently. Why would we need something
new, if that is what you are proposing? This forum serves all of those
purpose and it does have some basic rules although sometimes they are
forgotten. This group is sponsored by CFO. https://cobirds.org/

Wow. It seems that the CoBirds RBA has caught the virus and died. RIP. It
was a great run and sincere thanks to Joyce and all who did it for so many
years!
I like the suggestion that it continue as a forum for discussing Colorado
birds and neat birding experiences. We are already doing that. Dave
Hi Luke: can you be more specific about location of yellow billed cuckoo. Did
you mean near the 75 th st bridge over Boulder Creek?
