I usually have a meadowlark in my little meadow here in the foothills at 6,000 ft. in the summer. Have never heard or seen one except for the warm 4-5 months, so I suspect they altitudinally migrate down to the plains at least. Weirdly this year... we've had 2-3 Clark's Nutcrackers for 2-3 month
