Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO) is hosting a Hummingbird Identification
Workshop comprised of a webinar and several field trips this summer. Here's
your opportunity to become familiar with the more subtle and challenging
aspects of identifying the four hummingbirds (including the
"Looking For a Few Good Birders"
The Indian Peaks Bird Counts began in 1982 as a Christmas Bird
Count, complete with a count circle divided into areas that birders adopt.
This year will be the 41st year.

It was a cold, snowy late May (1-2 feet of snow on May 30 in the foothills
above 8500' in the foothills S and SW of Boulder). Golden Gate Canyon
State Park had 18" in one storm and 6" the next day. I suspect this also
has something to do with the breeding juncos in Denver.

Boulder County Audubon Society is looking for a volunteer who can run our
audio-visual equipment at our in-person monthly meetings on the fourth
Tuesday of each month, September-November 2022 and January-May 2023. The
time commitment would be from 6:30-9pm during the meetings.
