The "late afternoon showers" yesterday started in Brighton about 3 p.m. and did not end until after 6 a.m. this morning. Any birds that could leave yesterday did so, and apparently nothing new arrived. We banded just 10 new birds this morning, and caught 10 others that we had banded sometime

Scissortailed Flycatcher still present in 100 yard radius of Memorial Drive and Woodland Lane this morning. Lamar Community College Woods was hot and quiet but did have a Nashville Warbler, Magnolia Warbler and Black-throated Green Warbler. All west of trail at north end, mostly in hackberries
