At 8:30 today at Barr Lake near Visitor's Center in the cottonwood facing
the bird feeders was a juvenile American Goshawk, with a heavily vertically
striped breast, prominent white oval spots on the brown back, and a white
eyebrow. Yellow eye. Tail was barred , and some white feathers stuck out on
