one went from Bennett to Jackson Lake taking local mainly dirt roads. We
completed this route in December 2023 and January 2024, doing the last one

As East Winds were predicted (favorable for migration) for the Dinosaur Ridge
Hawk Watch we decided to go and help the counter today. We are experienced hawk
watchers from the Mount Peter Hawk Watch in New York State.
At the watch we met Carol Cwiklinski who said that there are no volunteers on
The Pink-footed Goose was at the northwest corner of Milavec Reservoir at 10:45
a.m. We saw it for about 10 minutes and it flew off with the Cackling Geese to
west of the pond on the golf course which is north of the reservoir.
There were also a juvenile Greater White-fronted Goose and another
