Good morning!
This is not that rare but have 2 White-winged Juncos at my feeders right now. I
know there was some talk about not seeing them as often as they used to be but
I seem to have them consistently but not in high numbers. Anyways, enjoy the
much needed snow!
Happy birding!

s open for the elusive White-winged. I
also have quite a few Lesser Goldfinches continuing at my thistle sock. Seems
late for them to still be around but I normally don't keep my sock up this late
but decided to keep it up through the winter. Certainly not complaining!
Happy Birding!

Hi all!
Finally had my first Broad-tailed Hummingbird buzz by my feeder last night a
half hour before sunset. Gorgeous little male. I was starting to think they
weren't coming, but it is only April and we've been spoiled by unseasonably
warm weather.
Happy Birding!!

I love those Bushtits! I had 15 come barrage my feeders and bushes here in
Littleton today. The only way I'm able to take pics of them is to anticipate
where they are going to land and even then it's a challenge :-)

and about 20 minutes later they rush in again. I have been
able to get pictures of the Oregon, Gray-headed and White-winged but the

shockingly not many House Finches, which are normally fairly prevalent.

Good morning!
Had beautiful Cassin's Finches at my suet feeder this morning in the Ken
Caryl suburbs. 6 of them rushed my feeder (3m/3f) and stayed for about 5
minutes and then moved along. At first, I thought they were House Finches
but the males were almost red headed and the females were cris
