Hello birders. Although I checked up on these nighthawks as earlier
reported on the evening of the 22nd I did not see a single bird. Two
nights ago, despite heavy winds I had about a dozen Common Nighthawks
visit the lagoons briefly before deciding the weather was the pits.

Hey birders. I decided to do my birdathon today despite the pittiful
weather in much of the southwest. From 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. I
birded (with the exception of 2 hrs. spent indoors on the internet)
and produced some nice finds. 102 species were seen in this time
frame.
