The birds I originally identified as Black phoebes along St. Vrain Creek
southwest of Hygiene (Boulder Co.) are in fact Eastern phoebes. Mea culpa,

Today at approximately 12:45p, while looking for an Eastern phoebe, I found
two Black phoebes along St. Vrain Creek southwest of Hygiene. They were
along Crane Hollow Road at the bridge that crosses the creek between
Hygiene and St. Vrain Roads. I have not previously read reports of Black
The adult male Black scoter first reported by Glenn Walbek this morning,
Sunday, November 13, was still at Cherry Creek State Park this afternoon
between 1:30-2:30. It was best viewed from the Lake Loop area. The Surf
scoter also reported by Glenn was not seen.

The Little blue heron continues at Rogers Grove Park in Longmont, Boulder
County, as of 9:00 am on Friday, July 22.
He was feeding between the east and west islands and was visible from the south
parking lot which is north of the Boulder County Fairgrounds off of Hover
Street.
