Just had 2 Brown-capped Rosy Finches show up on the deck. I’ve only seen 1
Cassie’s Finch. Where are they?

The Gyrfalcon had a fly by today at 11:20. It flew from the dump south across
Trilby Rd. It landed somewhere before the next ridge.

The Purple Sandpiper was last seen by us until 4:31pm. Follow the tracks from
parking area. The shorebird tucked down along the edge of the stream and out of
sight for the night. What a great bird. Thanks to all who found and kept
reporting about it!

The Worm-eating Warbler was spotted 50 yards west of parking area just along

The American Woodcock was seen & photographed by 13 birders this evening.
We finally saw it along the creek by the entrance to Bobcat Ridge NA. Park on
the side of the road just before the entrance to the NA. Walk up stream until
the house on the left. It was seen in that area feedin

The female Costa's HB came to the feeder this evening at 3:02 and finally at
3:50 in sleety rain.
The apple tree that she has been perching in lost most of its leaves last
night. So, she is perching in a spruce tree just across the fence.
With the cold snap today, the Costa's has been
