Since I missed the big crane flights earlier this month ( out of town), I
was excited to see

And hear 11 cranes circling and then heading south while golfing today.
They should have

Passed over Aurora/Stapleton about 1:20 or so, I'm guessing.

 

Unrelated note:   Since 2002 or so, I've only seen 7-15 pinyon jays up here.
(In 2001, I believe,

We counted 205 up here on a BBC field trip).   Two days ago, at least 50,
and probably 70+ dropped 

in on a foraging raid.   Hoo hoo!
