Lisa and I did a quick trip to the refuge this morning. A good number of Cranes are in as well as Cackling and Canada Geese, Pintail, mallards and hawks. Birds are spread out and many more Cranes are likely in the eastern San Luis Valley which did not receive nerarly the snow we had on the west side. Blustery day out there....
