well eight is the final number of nests begun by what i think is the male all 
by himself.  I never saw two birds building at the same time.  Nests 1, 7, and 
8 are the biggest.  Nests 2-6 are about half size.  Only nest 8 received a 
completed lining.  Nest 1 is at the site used last year for this pairs first 
nesting.

 

I checked the nests this morning and:  Nest two (no lining) has one egg.  Nest 
8 has 3 eggs and is probably the nest of final choice.
