Some new arrivals observed around my yard recently, while doing yardwork.....
Brown-headed Cowbird - 3 visiting the feeders
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 1
Says Phoebe - 2 hanging around the barn, hopefully looking for a nesting spot
Broad-tailed Hummingbird - 1 zooming around looking for the feeders (which 
aren't up yet)
Mourning Dove - 2 at the feeders and waterfall
Great-horned Owl - 1 on nest nearby

Others included.....
Vesper (1), Lincoln's (1), Song (1), and White-crowned (3) Sparrows
Pink-sided and Gray-headed Juncos - 1 each
Mountain Bluebird - 2
Spotted Towhee - many
Northern Flicker - 2
Downy Woodpecker - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
House Finch - 5
Black-capped Chickadee - 4
American Robin - 3
Western Scrub-Jay - 3
Blue Jay -2 
American Crow - 5
Common Raven - 1
Red-tailed Hawk - 2


A good day around the yard, even though I was working too much.
