Greetings COBIRDERS:
I saw an adult bald eagle sitting up on paired electrical lines at Bowles and
Federal today around 3pm, right at the indoor tennis courts, just west of the
South Platte River. I see them there periodically in mid-to-late winter, but
this is the first one I’ve seen in June.
An adult bald eagle flew over my car this morning at 7:05 AM as I was
sitting at the intersection of Kipling and Quincy in Littleton/Lakewood.
She/he flew west to east, directly over Quincy, into the rising sun.
Seems a bit early for a northern migrant, but it did get the carpool's
attention!
