Hello birders,
Around 1:15 pm today, I saw a male Barrow's Goldeneye at McLain (sp?) gravel
pit in Franktown (about 0.5 mile south of Hwy 86, on the east side of
Castlewood Canyon Road).

As of Thursday morning, Feb. 16, the pair of Barrow's Goldeneye were
still at the 20 Mile Road pond in Parker as first reported by Kingery
a couple of weeks ago. The size of the open water has increased and
there is a variety of ducks in addition the pair of Barrow's.
