Our low numbers continue as we start Week 4 of the banding season. Caught
our first American Goldfinches, late breeders - the female still had a
brood patch, while the male was molting into winter plumage. Still have a
few Yellow Warblers around, while the White-crowned Sparrows are starting
to arrive. Here's today's 19 new birds:

Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Wilson's Warbler 11
Clay-colored Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1
American Goldfinch 2
