The juvenile kittiwake is flying around a bit but seems to include the
booms at the marina in its rounds. Year bird #649!

The DFO trip just had a brief flyby as the kittiwake appeared out of the north,
passed near our spot near the dam and then returned back to the north.

Windsor Lake in downtown Windsor (Weld County) was covered with birds again
today, with large numbers of Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, Franklin’s and
Bonaparte’s Gulls, Western and Horned Grebes, and several species of swallows.

On Sunday afternoon at 4:25pm, I was able to scope the Black-legged Kittiwake

with Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls before the light got too low. It was on
the north side of the lake.
