Dear Cobirders, I dug up my most water-resistant clothing this morning and headed out to make a deposit into the birding karma bank. The northwest corner of Boulder Reservoir yield 1/105th the number of Ibis compared to yesterday and hosted 7 American White Pelicans and untold numbers of American Coot. A colony of Avocets were also present. Next, on to Lagerman Reservoir, where there were 3 American White Pelicans, 1 Osprey and 1 Avocet. I then headed over to Walden Ponds where a fling of Lesser Yellowlegs had arrived as well as two Audubon's Warblers. I actually photographed one Lesser Yellowlegs at Walden on 4/15, but didn't realize it until I looked at my photos.
Hopefully my jacket dries-out before someone finds a rarity! Cheers, Walter Szeliga Boulder, CO P.S.
