A number of birders saw the two Brant and several Lapland Longspurs at Chatfield this morning about 10 am. The Brants were often directly under the Old Heron overlook and sometimes swimming out of sight just to the north. The Brants would often go on shore near the willows. Two Lapland Longspurs were found among a flock of 30-40 Horned Larks near the dumpster at the Model Airplane field.
