Hello birders,

Sorry to be so late with this CFO convention slideshow from Cortez in May.
Hope you enjoy it and give me the benefit of the old saying, “Better late
than never.”

Barb and I had a great time in Cortez seeing old birding friends and
meeting new ones, marveling at the varied scenery of Colorado’s southwest
corner, its ancient culture, and searching for its interesting birds.
Thanks to all who made the convention a success, including outgoing CFO
President Jim Beatty, who led convention planning and designed the great
field trips on his home turf, ably assisted by incoming President Bill
Kaempfer.

One fun aspect of CFO conventions for Barb and me is the travel to and
from, seeing “colorful Colorado.” What a magnificent state! We’re glad to
be members of CFO, Colorado’s premiere birding organization. If you’re not
yet a member of CFO, please join us in the study, conservation, and
enjoyment of Colorado’s birds. http://cfobirds.org/business/contribute.php.
Hope to see you next year in Sterling!
