We saw our first Chipping Sparrow of the fall going to our (rather
dilapidated) water feature this afternoon.
We also have a family of White-breasted Nuthatches buzzing around the yard, a
passel of junior Spotted Towhees, and a family or two of Black-headed
Grosbeaks. A Yellow Warbler
We haven't seen/heard any hummingbirds yet, but this morning a spiffy
Chipping Sparrow showed up under our feeders. We saw a couple of times, and not
since.
