Woke up to some Clay-colored Sparrows singing in our field.

Took some shots of Burrowing Owls (WCR 33), Swainson's Hawk (really
close) pairs on commute.  One owl was about six feet from me at dog
hole on ground.  Had a photogenic Horned Lark that wouldn't move so
got a closeup of him, too.

Burrowing Owls have returned to WCR 23/WCR 100 .5m west on north (dog
colony)-two stood sentry on fence posts last night-after my Barn Owl
search (continue to miss).
