Hi COBirders,

I was at CSR this morning prepping for the spring banding season. In the 
flooded field next to the access road there were hundreds of Red-winged 
Blackbirds, dozens of Yellow-headed Blackbirds, and 10+ White-faced Ibis and 
Mallards. Not much is to be seen in the willows yet.

Not that many are likely to walk the mile North on the muddy road to the Little 
Fountain Creek crossing, but the area is under heavy construction as they are 
replacing the culverts that were damaged the last couple of springs. It looks 
like they could be at it for a couple weeks.
