The Scissor-tail was reported by several other birders at Cherry Creek later in the day on May 8. The combination of old cottonwood trees, community gardens, mixed grass field, and toll Gate Creek provides great habitat for many songbirds. Portable toilets should be available but not guaranteed. There are public facilities at the Aurora Public Library. These are easy walking paths but not paved. Estimated Distance by foot is 2.5 miles.
