ARCHULETA COUNTY:
---On October 26 in Pagosa Springs, Ben Bailey reported Steller’s Jay, 4
American Dipper, Ruby-crowned Kinglet and Lincoln’s Sparrow.

BOULDER COUNTY:
---On October 23 at Prince Lake #2 plus Carbonate neighborhood, Tom
Behnfield and many other birders reported FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER.  The
Flycatcher seems to prefer the Carbonate neighborhood in the morning and
the NW corner of Prince Lake #2 in the afternoon.  In the afternoon when
the flycatcher was by the lake, it was possible to see the flycatcher from
the South side of the lake.  At times it was in the Russian Olives and at
times perched on the fence to the West.  Also reported were Ring-necked
Pheasant and Least Sandpiper.
---On October 23 at Twin Lakes, Leslie S reported Least Sandpiper, 3
Long-billed Dowitcher, and Greater Yellowlegs.
---On October 23 David Haskell reported a hatch year RUBY-THROATED
HUMMINGBIRD coming to his feeder at Riverside Ave and Redwood Ave,  Birders
are welcome to view the bird from the public sidewalk on Redwood Ave.  You
can see the balcony with the feeder from there.  You cannot see the feeder
from his driveway.  Please respect private property and stay out of yards.
On October 25 Bob Fiehweg and Robin Byers and several other birders
reported RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD on Redwood Ave.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
---On October 23 at Chalk Cliff Fish Hatchery, Riley Morris reported
White-throated Sparrow.
---On October 25 at The Link School Base Camp, Christian Hagenlocher
reported 72 Sandhill Cranes (flyover).

CUSTER COUNTY:
---On October 24 at DeWeese Reservoir, Jerry DeBoer reported Pectoral
Sandpiper, 35 Long-billed Dowitcher, 14 Greater Yellowlegs, American Dipper
and Swamp Sparrow.  Own October 26 at DeWeese Reservoir, Rich Miller
reported Black-throated Blue Warbler in Willows along Grape Creek below the
dam and near concrete flume.

DELTA COUNTY:
---On October 23 at G50 Road, Bruce Ackerman reported 300 Sandhill Cranes
coming into roost and Pacific Loon at pond on west end.  On October 24 at
G40 Road, Jon Horn and Bill Harris reported 300 Sandhill Cranes (flyover),
Pacific Loon, and 2 Mountain Bluebirds.  On October 15 at G50 Rd, Carol
Ortenzio and Andrea Robinsong reported Pacific Loon.

DENVER COUNTY:
---On October 26 at Marston Reservoir West End, Doug Kibbe and Elaine
Wagner reported Pacific Loon.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
---On October 25 at Platte Canyon Reservoir, Lynne Forrester reported Say’s
Phoebe.

EAGLE COUNTY:
---On October 26 at Lake Creek Village Wetlands, Eric Culbertson reported
Wilson’s Warbler.

EL PASO COUNTY:
---On October 23 at Clear Spring Ranch, Steve Brown banded 2 Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Fox Sparrow (slate-color), White-throated Sparrow, and 2 Lincoln’s
Sparrow.  On October 25 at Clear Spring Ranch, Steve Brown banded
Ruby-crowned Kinglet and Warbling Vireo.  On October 26 at Clear Spring
Ranch,  Steve Brown banded 2 Bushtit, 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglet,
Orange-crowned Sparrow, and Chipping Sparrow.
---On October 23 at Red Rock Canyon OS, Jim Merritt and David Tonnessen
reported Steller’s Jay, 14 Woodhouse’s Scrub-Jay, Fox Sparrow
(slate-color), Harris’s Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, and Canyon
Towhee.  On October 24 at Red Rock Canyon OS, Alan Ketcham, Chris Brobin,
John Drummond, and Jim Merritt reported Steller’s Jay, 10 Woodhouse’s
Scrub-Jay, Fox Sparrow (Slate-color), juv Harris’s Sparrow, White-throated
Sparrow, and 2 Canyon Towhee.
---On October 25 at Fountain Creek Regional Park, Joel Adams reported 3
Brown Creeper, 3 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Harris’s Sparrow, White-throated
Sparrow, 3 Lincoln’s Sparrow, Canyon Towhee, Common Yellowthroat, and
Wilson’s Warbler.

and  Townsend’s Warbler.  On October 25 at Brush Hollow Reservoir, Jerry
DeBoer reported Osprey, 5 Woodhouse’s Scrub-Jay, Juniper Titmouse, 2 Rock
Wren, Bewick’s Wren, 16 Mountain Bluebird, Hermit Thrush.
