Today 10-22 at 3:30 p.m. there was a Common Tern at the Chatfield sandspit 
(Douglas Co). Larger bill than Arctic, red-orange w/ dark tip on the end. 
Longer legs than Arctic but still short. Bill and legs appeared as adult 
breeding, less-extensive dark on cap and visible dark carpal-bar appeared 
as adult non-breeding. Negligible whether tail was shorter than wingtips, 
from one angle it was, from another angle not so much.
