Chris Knight and I got over to the South Shore Marina tires at Pueblo
Reservoir, a little before 8am, and were surprised to see a shorebird running
around on the tires with the gulls.  The shorebird turned out to be a DUNLIN!
The bird was seen for maybe 10 minutes, and then it flew never to be seen
again!  The DFO group was a few minutes too late, and were not able to see the
bird.

Other birds of note at Pueblo Reservoir today, all seen by the DFO Field Trip,
were a couple of Common Loons, one Pacific Loon, one first year Lesser
Black-backed Gull, and an adult Northern Shrike.  The usual Pueblo specialty
birds were in the parking lot at the South Shore Marina, two each of
Curve-billed Thrashers and Canyon Towhees.  Over in the rocks in North East
Corner of the Reservoir, there were Rock Wrens, and Mountain Bluebirds.  Later
in the afternoon, near the South Shore Marina, we added Scaled Quail and
Bushtits.  Pueblo City Park had the usual things, no luck with any sapsuckers,
though all three nuthatches, Brown Creeper, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Mountain
Chickadees, Townsend's Solitaires, and Yellow-rumped Warblers.

Chris and I saw a Say's Phoebe at Sailboard launching area parking lot this
morning as well, and a few Bonaparte's Gulls off West Fishing Road, that
weren't seen by the DFO Trip.
