Birders,

I've seen a number of interesting geese at Lollipop Lake. They've been
there daily for the last week.

Lollipop Lake is located in Garland Park in east Denver on South Holly
Street about one mile south of Alameda Avenue.

The geese come and go through the day, but all the following are often
present at the same time:

Cackling (Richardson’s) Goose 500-600

leucistic Cackling (Richardson’s) Goose

Canada Goose 100+

Greater White-fronted Goose - adult

Snow Goose, Blue-morph - adult

3 Snow Goose x Cackling Goose hybrids (presumably siblings)

The three hybrids and the Blue Goose are always seen together.

Cheers,

Philip Pratt
