With Spring migration approaching, Evergreen Audubon is pleased to host Nic
Korte, Conservation Director for Grand Valley Audubon, for our March
Chapter Meeting, *"No Boundaries for Wildlife: Saving Tropical Birds in the
Bear Creek Watershed."*

Nic Korte has traveled to the American tropics (Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba,
Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Panama) more than 40 times and has personally
documented more than 2000 bird species. During his travels, he has also
witnessed the tremendous habitat destruction and ecological loss that has
occurred in these countries. He has become an expert on the topic of
habitat destruction and loss and its impact birds, especially our North
American migrants.
