The Ft Collins CBC will be held December 15th this year (Count week = Dec 12-18). Please contact me (Tom Hall - @redbea...@msn.com or 970-419-5535) to let me know that you would like to participate and I will get you into an area with someone. I will be contacting all those that have participated in the past to see if they want to cover the same are or different area soon to deteermine leaders and which are they would like to cover. If you do not contact me prior to the count day, I plan on meeting at Perkins in Old Town on College about 5:30 until 6:30 am and for those that would like a cup of coffee before venturing out. Afterwards, we will be meeting for a dinner at ~5:15 pm (details later on place). Please contact me. Hopefully we have a great day. I also would like to encourage anyone with a feeder to contact me to be a feeder watcher sometime during the day (7.5 mile radius from about Taft and 287). I am especially interested in hearing about any rare birds about during count week (please take photographs), so please contact me if you see one. This year Audubon has waived the $5 participation fee, so no fee is required to participate. Thanks Tom Hall BTW - Got to see the Brambling today at 8:50 (in trees near bridge) and 10:20 (on bridge) at Bear Creek Lake Park. What a great find!
