This morning at Lathrop State Park we saw a lone Common Loon, 6 Western
Bluebirds and a single Eastern Bluebird. We are scratching our heads wondering
where all the Mountain Bluebirds are...they are usually so numerous at Lathrop
this time of year...very odd.

Back at the house we have a late Common Grackle, 2 first year Harris's
Sparrows, one White-throated Sparrow. No Blue Jays or Cassin's Finches...again
very odd.
